Our child care services promote a positive integrated environment for immigrants, refugees, and Canadian-born children. We place strong emphasis on culturally appropriate care, language development and school readiness. Integrated/supported child care is also available for children with mild-to-moderate special needs. Spaces are limited and priority is given to the children of our LINC students.
We operate a licensed, accredited child care centre, the Cross Cultural Children's Centre. The Centre has a capacity of 92 children, 6 months to 6 years old. (We have some limited infant care capacity, which is restricted to the use of children who's parents are enrolled in CCIS training programs). Some spaces are reserved for CCIS students, but otherwise we offer care to all, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our rates are competitive in the market, and as licensed centres, parents are eligible for child care subsidies.
