This program is designed to empower children and parents to openly talk about the freedoms, responsibilities and concerns for children who are home alone. You are invited to attend the first hour and a half in the first class to address your concerns; and at the end of the course, to negotiate a contract and to problem solve typical ‘home alone’ scenarios with your child. This is a six-hour program developed by the Family Studies Department at Lethbridge Community College, in collaboration and partnership with the FAMILIES MATTER organization.
